Winner – 2014 Planning Excellence Award from the Planning Institute’s Victorian Awards
From Plan to Place: The Glen Waverley Station Precinct Project was delivered by VicTrak and Consolidated Properties. The Glen Waverley station precinct has become a more attractive destination for commuters, residents, shoppers and diners, with the completion of the landmark $70 million IKON Glen Waverley Development. The IKON project, built in the busy Glen Waverley activity centre, has shown how a tired station precinct can be transformed with new residential and retail uses. The Glen Waverley Station forecourt upgrade project has rejuvenated the station precinct. The project, which was completed in late 2013, forms part of the Victorian Government’s Station Precinct Enhancement Program. The Glen Waverley Station Precinct also received a commendation for the same category at the PIA National Awards.
